The older brother suspected in the Boston Marathon bombing was a boxer and former student at Bunker Hill Community College.

Tamerlan Tsarnaev, who was killed after a bloody shootout Friday, was profiled in 2010 by The Comment, magazine published by Boston University’s College of Communication.

The article includes several pictures of Tsarnaev training as a boxer at the Wai Kru Mixed Martial Arts Center in Boston, Mass.

The article quoted Tsarnaev saying he wanted to compete in the Olympics, and would “rather compete for the U.S than Russia” if he couldn’t compete as a representative for an independent Chechnya.
