The term “climate thanks” is being used as a new variation on “thank you” in the liberal community, the Daily Caller has learned.

As President Obama reportedly tries for a second-term “climate” legacy that he can accomplish by executive action through EPA regulations, his supporters in progressive America will be thanking him in most obnoxious fashion.

“I’m giving #ClimateThanks to the people of #RI who continue to take action on climate change,” Democratic Rhode Island Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse tweeted on Thanksgiving. “And of course, a big #ClimateThanks to all the activists who refuse to let Congress ignore climate change.”
