Rep. Devin Nunes told Fox News’ Megyn Kelly Tuesday night classified hearings on the Benghazi attack are providing “outstanding” testimony that will help Congress in the investigation of the assault going forward.
Nunes, R-Calif., said on “The Kelly File” the testimony by two CIA contractors before the House Intelligence Committee gave lawmakers a “lot of good leads” in their probe of the attack, which killed Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans.
He said the contractors’ account raises questions as to why no one was sent to help the Benghazi compound that night when it was unclear whether the attack had ended.
“What if they attack had gone on for another 24 hours?” he asked. “Would they have sent help then?”
