The American Coalition for Clean Coal Electricity (ACCCE) launched a get-out-the-vote campaign on Tuesday with NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt Jr.

The campaign urges voters to support candidates who back coal and are willing to fight the administration’s carbon pollution rules on power plants.

“Americans face an important decision this November. With electricity costs on the rise and threats to our energy supply on the horizon, it’s critical that voters understand the importance of electing strong advocates for affordable, reliable power from coal,” said Laura Sheehan, senior vice president of communications for ACCCE.

“We’re proud to join forces with our longtime partner Dale Jr. in reminding voters to say yes to coal power on Election Day,” she said.
