Running to do something…
Check it out:
Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal announced Wednesday he is running for president, joining a crowded Republican primary field that now stands at 13.
The 44-year-old, two-term governor made it official on Twitter and later at a rally in the New Orleans suburb of Kenner, where he lived as a congressman.
“I’m running for President of the United States of America. Join me,” he tweeted, linking to a campaign website.
During his late afternoon announcement in Kenner, Jindal said, “I’m not running for president to be somebody, I’m running for president to do something.”
