Just take a look at what they have or don’t have would be a better statement….
On his Nationally syndicated radio show last Wednesday, Mark Levin responded to President Obama’s concerns over economic globalization and automation, saying that if liberal changes to capitalism were feasible, the most prosperous society on earth would be North Korea.
“You can’t impose success. You can’t impose living wages. You can’t do any of those things,” Levin said. “If you could do those things, the most successful, prosperous, paradisiacal society on the face of the earth would be North Korea.”
Below is a transcript of what Levin said on his show:
“Now, I’m glad to know that Obama can pronounce these things like Uber and all the rest of them. But he’s never produced anything. He’s never created anything, so he doesn’t get it, and he never will get it, ‘cause he’s an ideologue. He’s a radical ideologue. You can’t impose success. You can’t impose living wages. You can’t do any of those things.
“If you could do those things, the most successful, prosperous, paradisiacal society on the face of the earth would be North Korea — a complete police state — where, of course, they set all of the requirements for the good workers there you know, who are malnourished, who have the crap beaten out of them, who have no future, who are treated inhumanely, who are starving to death, who are on their hands and knees looking for insects to eat, tree roots. No, I have to admit it’s quite equal there. The destitution and misery is equal, unless of course you’re in the military or one of the thugs who runs the country.
“But for the vast majority of people, I’m sure they’re celebrating their equality as I speak. Nobody gets ahead of anybody else, and of course, there’s no automation. There’s no carbon dioxide because there’s no energy. It’s a swell place. It’s the worker’s paradise. There you are, North Korea.
“So when Obama goes on and on about globalization and automation, it undermines the capacity of the ordinary work[er]. No, Obama undermines the capacity of the ordinary worker, whatever that is, to earn an income, to hold a job, with illegal immigration, with massive taxes, with massive regulations, by targeting our own industries.
“Obama, by preventing two point some-odd trillion dollars from coming back into the United States through double taxation. Imagine that. Pushing people out of the work. The Environmental Protection Agency, what a joke. The NLRB putting people out of work who don’t join unions.
“We don’t need lectures from leftists who’ve never produced a damn thing and never can produce a damn thing, who are taking this country down the toilet. We don’t need lectures from economic illiterates who sound like 1940 communists. Homeless people, rambling on and on with their stupid theories that never work and cost people, well, their lives even.”
