The network that gave terrorists a voice is dead in America. Good riddance to Al Jazeera. Now if we could just get rid of the rest of the terrorists in America.

Al Jazeera America is dead.
The U.S. arm of the Qatar-based news network is closing its doors after three years in business. Employees at its Midtown Manhattan offices were informed Wednesday that operations will cease April 30.
“I know this will be a massive disappointment for everyone here who has worked tirelessly for our long-term future. The decision that has been made is in no way because AJAM has done anything but a great job,” CEO Al Anstey wrote in an email to staff, Politico reported Wednesday.
Anstey declined to mention a slew of discrimination lawsuits and a recently maligned report on doping in professional sports.
Al Jazeera’s entrance into the U.S. market began when it purchased Al Gore’s Current TV for approximately $500 million in January 2013. The Arab-language broadcaster’s exit involves shifting towards a “global online strategy” later this year.
“I’m truly sad that that future we were making great strides towards cannot be realized,” Anstey ended his email. “However, the achievements of the past two and a half years should be a source of great pride for everyone. In the months to come we will do everything that we can to support you, to work with you, and to ensure you are shown the respect you deserve.
